Dr. Adam Kern is a board certified practicing pediatric urologist and pediatric surgeon in Annapolis, Maryland. He also serves as a Director for Value-Based Care for his multi-state physician group.

He earned his BA degree in chemistry with a concentration in biochemistry and a minor in philosophy from Haverford College. He then earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine, during which time he was awarded a Howard Hughes Medical Institute research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Kern went on to complete his general surgery internship at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, and his urological surgery residency training at the James Buchanan Brady Urological Institute at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. He then completed an additional two-year fellowship in pediatric urological surgery at the Children’s Medical Center at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.
Michael McCrorey is the Chief Technology Officer with Revelar Analytics in Catonsville, Maryland. He made a pivot into IT during his seven year enlistment as a foreign language analyst in the United States Air Force–preferring the study of computer communications as next steps. Deployment opportunities for desk-borne linguists are uncommon so the experience gained by training for and flying missions in hostile skies set the grounds for change as he found adaptability, learned to keep asking “what’s next?”, and found new solutions to bridge gaps.
He moved from hardware, software, and network training in engineering support roles to excel in systems integration and engineering for federal agencies and the DoD. His drive to succeed has always come from feeding curiosity, solving problems, achieving the goals of each mission, and delivering quality to clients and end-users. These same principles apply today both professionally and personally as he and his wife hike new trails, DIY at home, and brush off routine with new hobbies. He now leads engineering efforts for Revelar as well as DoD contracts and is pursuing an M.S. in Systems Engineering from UMBC.
Mike Gizzi serves as the Strategic Advisor at Revelar Analytics. Mike has been leading and advocating for transformation and Value-Based Care the last 15 years. He has worked with national consulting firms across the country, most recently as a Principal at SullivanCotter, leading their VBC business development and strategic service offerings. Mike has also spent some time in a provider organization working directly with providers and physician leadership to develop a robust VBC strategy. Mike’s primary focus areas are VBC program development, affiliate alignment opportunities, primary care service line optimization, provider engagement, operational performance improvement, ACO performance, and provider incentive alignment. Mike has also spent a significant amount of time in provider practices (primary care and specialty care) working hand in hand with Care Teams to help facilitate EMR and Population Health synergies, scheduling improvements, transitions of care, annual care programs, and provider scorecard implementation.
